Getting your PET-GPS Advance running is straightforward. No tech degree required.
1. Insert Your SIM Card
Use a GSM SIM (Vodacom, MTN, Telkom, Cell C).
Make sure data + SMS are active.
Insert the SIM into the device until it clicks into place.
2. Charge the Device (Type-C)
Plug in the Type-C charging cable.
Red light = charging
Green light = fully charged
A full charge usually takes around 2 hours.
3. Download the App
Use the official app for this device:

Search “Trace Pet” in the Play Store or App Store.
4. Create Your Account
Sign up inside the app
Add your device using the QR code or device ID number
Pairing takes a few seconds
5. Turn On the Tracker
Press the On/Off button until the indicator lights turn on.
6. Wait for GPS Lock
Take the tracker outside for the first fix.
Within a short time, you’ll get accurate positioning.
7. Start Tracking
